A lot of people are talking about a Plan B for Iraq because Republicans and Democrats can both see that the "Surge" is doing little to change the situation.  The Presient hopes that September will be magical( i think he has been listening to too much Earth, Wind, and Fire if you ask me, "Do you Remember...?").  i submit that we are way past the letter "B" as far as plans go.  Let's do a little recollecting, shall we?

Plan A) Light swift force; "Shock and Awe"; find and secure WMDs; stay a  year to let Democracy develop.

Plan B) Put Condi in charge instead of Bremmer and Hadley on the political side; get rid of Gen. Franks and put in Gen. Sanchez.; Protect the "Green-Zone" where we and the Iraq Gov. are so Democracy can flourish.

Plan C) Gen. Sanchez out; Gen. Casey in.   Move more to training Iraqi Forces and police and put them out front.  Move to an even lighter footprint by pulling back to large bases.  "They stand up, we'll stand down." And democracy might survive.

Plan D) Recognize there is an insurgency and go after its leaders like Sadr and whatever that guy's name is who was leading Al Qaeda in Iraq (Leaders' names change so much i can't keep up. We keep killin' em and they keep promoting from within: something American companies need to do more, but i digress) New slogan "Clear-Hold-Build"

Plan E) Casey out; Gen. Pace in.  He says lets concentrate forces in Al Anbar Provence, mainly in Baghdad,  and we can strike outlying areas from there.  Democracy language falls from our aspirations.

Plan F)  Pres. visits Iraq and says that Iraq will take charge of all security by November 2006, so we can start coming home.  Remember that talk during the summer of '06 to try and save the elections for the Rep.  Sec. of Def. Rumsfeld out.( Let the faithful say Amen);  Robert Gates in as new Sec. No change in ground tactics but it at least looks like the Pres. is admitting there might, just might, be a problem in Iraq. 

Plan G) Surrrge!!!!! Gen. Pertaeus in to lead it.   Announced on Jan. 10th. Troops don't get in position until beginning of June. ( How weak do we look?  It takes 5 months to move 30,000 troops?!? The threat of a "Surge" to the terrorist must have sounded a little like if your mother would say, "Wait till your father gets home. He is going to punish you for what you did!"; and by the way, your father is stationed in Iraq.

Plan G 1/2)  Appoint a "War Czar" in the person of General Lute to be in charge of overseeing the wars.  What!!!???  So who has been doing that job for the last 5 years?  (And a loud cry could be heard coming from the direction of the White House:  a collective "NOT ME!")

Soooo, what your saying ol' bean is that we are really waiting for Bush and his "brain" trust to come up with a Plan H?  Yes!  And i have that plan for them: GET US THE H OUT OF IRAQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
