I am not the first to call for George Tenet to return his Medal of Freedom but I will say it anyway: give it back! If you watched his latest media campaign, you will see him shucking and jiving just like everyone else involved in the decision to go to war.  He says he was never asked if we should go to war. HELLO!!!!  No one has to ask you for you to tell someone, "Hey, watch out for that bus. It's about to hit you!".  It was his job to say then what he is saying now.  He is embarrassing himself and he has disgraced the good people at the CIA who are trying so hard to protect us.  It was his job to know what his analysts were saying: that they didn't have confidence in "curve ball";, or that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, just to cite two examples.  He says that he only accepted the "honor" because it was for his work in Afghanistan.  Fine job there letting Bin Laden escape.  His excuse is that we didn't have enough forces to surround America's Number One Enemy.  Whose fault is that?  No one in this administration will take responsibility for anything they do. Blame is always shifting from this person or that. He says that he tried.  Well, as the great philosopher Yoda said, "Try not! Do or do not. There is no try".  If he doesn't return the medal I hope that he can't stand to look at it; and that every time he does he will see the faces of those that he sent to die in Iraq with his silent complicity.
